Why Do We Want To Help?
At Beaconhouse we believe that every hard-working American should have a rock-solid financial security plan and a dignified retirement. We've studied the data, and it shows that going forward a majority of Americans will not have enough money saved for a dignified retirement due to a number of mitigating factors of no fault of their own. These factors are taxes, inflation and financial liabilities such as high mortgages, credit card debt, student loan debt, along with the uncertainty of entitlements such as Social Security and Medicare. It is predicted that by 2034 for Social Security that the combined trust fund reserves will be depleted which means they will only be able to pay 81% of promised benefits not 100%. This doesn't mean that benefits will stop entirely but would be significantly reduced affecting 74 million Americans. The same is for Medicare in 2033. Although benefits won't stop entirely, they will be reduced as well only being able to pay 89% of promised benefits and not 100% affecting 67.6 million Americans. Not to mention if you or a spouse should have a terminal, chronic, critical illness or critical injury which will require long term or nursing home care. It is also predicted that by 2050 the number of Alzheimer's cases in America will double.
